Your dog learns to put toy blocks into a box to release treats. Great for developing intelligence and problem solving skills.
An amusing game for you to play together, a game that develops your dog's intelligence and puzzle-solving skills. Your dog learns to put toy blocks into a box with holes on top. The game has three degrees of difficulty. When the dog succeeds in getting the block into the hole, treats is falling out.
Place several treats piled upon each other on the rubber edging on top of the sloping board of the box. See to it that the treats can fall down, try out the way that is best for the treat you use before letting the dog try.
Start by placing a block (or a ball) close to the hole of the upper board so that your dog can push it easily into the hole to release the treats. If the dog tries to strike with the paw or put in his nose in order to take the treats, just put your hand over the hole and point at the toy brick.
Progress to placing the toy block on the floor in front of the toy, and encourage your dog to pick it up and drop it into the hole. If the dog misses the hole (which may happen often at the beginning), put a treat in front of the toy as a reward for being so close.
When your dog understands how it works (this may take time), you can make it more challenging by replacing the upper board one of the others as these have a higher level of difficulty. You can also hide the block under the box so that your dog has to find it before dropping it into the hole.
Approx 8" x 8" x 5.5"
The idea, of course, is that you and your dog have a fun and enjoyable time together. You demonstrate. Your dog watches, listens and learns. Together you have fun !
Do not let your dog bite the Dog Box. Play with it together with your dog. Supervised play only. Your dog must not play with or chew the blocks.
