Your dog should push in the buttons on the Dog Trigger with its nose to get a reward.

Together with your dog, hide a treat in each compartment. Allow your dog to watch you load the game.

Sitting on a stool, chair or on the floor, place the DogTrigger (standing) between your knees, in your lap or at the floor, at your dog's eye level. Encourage your dog to touch or push in the button with its nose to get a treat. Show how to do it if necessary.

As your dog understands the game, set the block completely out. Finally, let your dog figure out how to retrieve the treats without assistance. Each time your dog succeeds, praise! If your dog uses its paw, discourage it with your hand and try again.

When your dog understands how to play the game, make it more difficult by hiding fewer treats. Length of play depends on your dog, but typically 15 minutes per round is an enough for most dogs.

The idea, of course, is that you and your dog have a fun and enjoyable time together. You demonstrate. Your dog watches, listens and learns. Together you have fun !

Do not let your dog bite the Dog Trigger. Play with it together with your dog. Supervised play only. Your dog must not play with or chew the pieces.
