WalkyDog Bicycle Attachment

An excellent way to enjoy the great outdoors with a canine pal.

Gives the bike rider freedom of movement-no hanging onto that leash.
Can be installed on the bike in less than 5 minutes.
Disconnected in just one second and transforms into a leash for walking.
Internal springs provide shock absorption.
Universal fitting means it's suitable for almost any type of bike.
Recommended for use with a harness.
Extra jaws can be purchased for installation on multiple bikes.

If your dog is not used to running alongside a bike it is strongly recommended that you undertake some basic training first. Here are some suggestions

Walk your dog next to your bike whilst wheeling it along.
Connect the Walkydog to your dog's harness and walk your dog with the bike.
Connect the Walkydog to your bike and then connect your dog to the Walkydog and wheel the bike.
Mount the bike and with the Walkydog and your dog connected, try a few laps at a slow speed in a quiet environment where there are no distractions.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 in different environments, gradually building on the level of distraction (ie, people, other dogs, traffic.
When your dog is comfortable trotting alongside the bike, increase the speed and length of journey steadily - do not overdo it.
Always take water for your dog on outings.
It is not advisable to make your dog run for long periods in hot weather.
Check dog pads frequently if running on hard surfaces.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The WalkyDog® should not be used by children younger than 15 years of age and with a body weight lighter than 35 kgs. Strict parental supervision is recommended when WalkyDog® is used by children. The WalkyDog® should not be used by riders carrying children on the bike. Before using the product on the public road, carefully check the Highway Code.
