Capture the saddle teaches great mounting block manners, plus it sets the stage for single-rein riding. The first half of the DVD focuses on the mounting block lesson, and the second half looks at a very basic single-rein riding exercise. You'll see the beginning steps that teach you how to ride on a triangle of the reins.

Approx 2 hours.

The lesson begins with a ground work exercise that connects your horse's hips to your rein.  You'll know your horse will have great brakes before you ever get into the saddle.

Next we transfer this lesson to the mounting block.  This serves as a final safety check before you get on.  Great mounting block manners lead to great manners under saddle.

Then we use the connections you've created to introduce your horse to 'Riding on a Triangle' - single rein riding.  You'll see how to use the work you began on the ground to straighten out a not-very-forward wiggle-worm of a horse and to start a young horse.

Approx 2 hours.
